Douglas Elliman Real Estate
As a marketing intern for Douglas Elliman Real Estate in NYC, Ariana managed the Douglas Elliman Brooklyn Instagram account and conducted social media competitive analysis on seven competing real estate companies. Ariana also selected NYC listings and photos to feature in advertisements for WSJ and NY Post and update lifestyle categories on the website using CMS platforms. Additionally, she contributed ideas, strategies and visuals for campaigns, organized the Top 20 agent list for an email deliverable, and organized press materials for agents and teams.
Marketing and Communications Intern, Lehigh Valley PBS and NPR
As the marketing and communications intern for Lehigh Valley Public Media, PBS and NPR, Ariana created and scheduled social media posts for Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. She also wrote TV and radio scripts, wrote press releases, maintained a PR coverage grid, created email flyers for events, and created weekly email newsletters for WLVT/PBS39, WLVR/NPR, and Lehigh Valley Reads. Utilizing her graphic design minor, she created social media graphics and project logos. She has gained experience using the platforms MailChimp, Constant Contact, Asana, and Adobe platforms.
Managing Editor of New Media,
The Brown and White
Ariana was the managing editor of new media for Lehigh University’s student-run publication, The Brown and White. She oversaw the audience (social media), multimedia and video departments. Ariana managed the integration of these departments and articles into the publication’s social media channels and website, created the weekly newsletter, and tracked analytics, engagement and audience development for both the website and Instagram. Additionally, she expanded the publication’s social media reach to TikTok.
Previously, Ariana was the social media manager/audience editor, for which she managed social media platforms, created graphics for Instagram posts and stories, tracked content analytics and gained an understanding of audience development.
Social Media Intern,
Ariana was a social media intern for MadeMan, a men’s skincare start-up. She wrote blog posts, planned Instagram posts on Planoly, planned tweets on TweetDeck, designed graphics for Instagram posts and stories, brainstormed ideas for influencer giveaways, and responded to tags and direct messages on the brand’s two Instagram accounts.
Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women
Ariana managed the VSCO account for the Pa Kappa chapter of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women at Lehigh University. She collected media from all members to curate feeds that display a positive brand image for the chapter and showcase its members’ accomplishments, philanthropy and sisterhood. Additionally, Ariana was the director of membership selection for the Pa Kappa chapter of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women at Lehigh University. She led the recruitment process to ensure membership selection aligned with the fraternity’s core values and policies and helped the chapter meet recruitment goals.
Lehigh University Hellenic Society
Ariana was the vice president of communications for Lehigh University’s Hellenic Society, where she promoted and marketed events within the Lehigh community, fostered collaboration with other clubs, and managed the club’s email and social media accounts.
